I've got a bit of bad news. While I was toying with new camera positions (JayRo's gone for over a week), I managed to get my camera beaten up by his printer's ink heads. I might note that his printer is likely the best location for future camera placement. However, when I retrieved the camera, it no longer functioned properly. So I'm out of business until probably sometime in September or later. I'm looking for employment at the moment and preparing to move soon (hottie str8 boy roommate!), so I truly have no money at all. I was very upset at this camera damage as I can't seem to figure out what exactly happened. I took the camera apart and investigated carefully, but to no avail. Tried everything I can think of. No dice. I found that DynaSpy, the company that I've found offers the absolute rock-bottom prices for tiny, tiny cameras, has a new addition: the Mini Wireless Low-Light B&W Spy Camera. Looks pretty nice, and more importantly, it has a lux of 0.5, which is way better than the one I was using. I've emailed the company to ask about more detailed specifics as the page doesn't offer much in the way of consumer information. I did find it at another site, but it was $33 more. I'm also trying to see if I can get it camera-only so that I can possibly save a bit by not getting another receiver. I did find my dream camera in the hunt for a new device. It's got a lux of 0.003, which is effective nightvision, but without infrared illumination, which is simply mind-blowing. And it's the same size as these cameras at ~3.4". Too bad it's almost $300.
Anyhow, I just wanted you guys to know that I'm stopped in my tracks 'til I manage to get some more cash flow. I'm a little preoccupied with job hunting and apartment hunting. Unless you feel like making a friendly donation, you'll have to wait. I'll try to get the material I did get posted sometime today. Quality is poor, again, and I apologize, but the light in this place is insufferably poor. I'm definitely going to keep an eye on that when looking for a new place.
